IAG Commercial represented the Brooklyn Park Economic Development Authority (EDA) in the purchase of Northwind Plaza Shopping Center and an adjacent land lease for CVS. The property is located at 7944-7996 Brooklyn Blvd. in Brooklyn Park, MN. IAG provided site analysis, underwriting, purchase negotiations and assistance with due diligence efforts.
IAG is currently working with the EDA as Owner’s Representative to manage the design and construction of the 27,000 square foot vacant space in the center. When completed, the facility will be a small business center that will foster growth of start-up or newer companies, particularly those owned by Black, Indigenous, and Person of Color (BIPOC) individuals, in a collaborative environment.
Michael Sedley and Jeff LaFavre of IAG Commercial worked with Joe Houseman-Wellington Cos. and Lisa Diehl-Diehl and Partners in buying the property, for a price of $7.3 million. Thank you to all for helping complete the transaction successfully.
